Designing a patio you’ll actually use
Most of our Naples patio projects combine a few elements. A fire table or fire pit becomes the natural gathering spot on cooler winter evenings. Seating walls give guests a place to sit without adding more furniture to store before a storm, and they create a clean edge between the patio and the planting beds. An outdoor kitchen, even a simple grill island with counter space, keeps the cook part of the party instead of running back and forth through the slider.
Pattern and color do much of the design work. Herringbone is strong and classic and hides minor settling well. Large-format and linear pavers give a clean, contemporary look that suits many newer Naples homes, while a running bond or random pattern with a contrasting border frames the space without feeling busy. Lighter colors stay cooler underfoot in full sun, which matters if the patio connects to a pool deck. We bring samples so you can see combinations against your home’s exterior.
Fire features and outdoor kitchens often involve gas lines, electrical work or structures, and many of them need permits in Florida. We take care of the permitting for your project and plan the hardscape so utility runs, cabinet footprints and fire-table clearances are worked out before the first paver goes down. That way the gas line isn’t trenched through a finished patio, and the kitchen sits on a base built to carry its weight.
