Replacing older concrete driveways
A cracked concrete driveway is one of the most common reasons Fort Myers homeowners call us. Concrete can’t be patched invisibly, so once cracks spread or sections settle, replacing it with pavers is often the better long-term move. We break out and haul away the old concrete, correct the subgrade, build a compacted base designed for vehicle traffic and install the pavers with a solid edge restraint so the whole field stays tight.
Longer driveways on larger lots leave room for design: a contrasting border, a banded apron at the street or a circular drive with a guest parking pad. They also mean planning for volume — more base material, more pavers and a sequence that keeps part of the driveway usable when the layout allows. Paver driveways in Southwest Florida typically run $10–$20 per square foot, and we provide a free, detailed estimate after measuring.
